FAQ's:
#unsaid is a parenting resource built for today’s world — where kids are facing complex emotional and social challenges, and parents often feel left out of the conversation. It includes two parts:
-
A weekly blog with short, research-backed insights drawn from real teen coaching
-
A Telegram community where parents get practical tools and real-time conversation starters to use with their teens
They work together or separately, depending on what support you need.
-
Yes and no. The blog is designed to cut through the noise, no scrolling through forums or endless articles. Each post offers a short, clear explanation of what teens are experiencing, why it matters, and how to respond. It’s grounded in real coaching insights and supported by current research, so you’re not guessing what’s true.
Telegram is a popular messaging app like WhatsApp. It allows for users to change their display name to keep anonymous. There’s no feed, no pressure to post or perform, and you don’t need to show your real name or photo. You can ask a question, read a prompt, or just observe when you need to. It's a quiet place for real-time parenting support.
We share a Sunday Scenario based on a real life coaching moment. Then, mid week, we follow up with additional insights: reflection prompts, quick tips, and real-world conversation starters you can use with your kid that same day. You can engage as often or as little as you want. Many parents say it’s the only parenting space they actually read.
That’s totally fine. Some parents just want insight and context, so they stick with the blog. Others want daily tools or connection with other parents, and they join the Telegram group. You can choose either or use both together for deeper support.
It started as a space for parents of teens, but we quickly realized these lessons should begin much earlier. We believe any child who is starting to ask questions can benefit from these skills. In this digital age, kids are judging themselves far earlier than we ever did. These tools can apply to kids as young as 4 or 5 — especially around emotions, communication, and building healthy self-worth.
#unsaid is not therapy, and it doesn’t replace personalized medical or mental health care. But it does provide trusted, research-based insights that help you become a calmer, more confident guide in your child’s life — especially when the conversation gets hard.
The foundation of Taboos is built on the words we often leave unsaid. And one thing we’ve learned is that parenting itself has quietly become a taboo — something many of us are afraid to admit we’re struggling with. That’s why this space is safe, anonymized, and completely judgment-free. We’re not here to tell you how to parent. We’re here to help you feel less alone while you do it.
Right now, both the blog and Telegram community are free to join. In the future, we may offer premium content or support options, but the core experience will always be accessible.
